Standing in the House We Just Bought

Billy filmed this one standing inside the house we had just purchased from Dennis, a couple of weeks before a new family moved in. He had promised Dennis and his family they could come back and see the property, and this was that visit.

The negotiation was not instant. Dennis wanted a higher number, and Billy explained why the number had to be where it was. That back and forth is normal and it is better on camera than hidden.

The question Billy asks is the one that matters: watching this, did you get a fair offer? He asks it in the house, on the record, with the sale already closed and nothing left to gain.

We would rather show you a real conversation with a real seller than a testimonial written by a marketing department.

What to take from this

  • A fair cash offer accounts for the repairs, the carrying costs, and the timeline you actually need.
  • Negotiation is normal. A buyer who will not explain their number is the problem.
  • Every house we buy goes to a new family or a new tenant, not into a holding pattern.

What's up? I'm sitting here with my friend Dennis Clark and we purchased this property how many months ago, Dennis? Uh it was back in February. February, March, around there. Yeah, around the middle of March we closed. We went to close Dennis Clark and and his sister Michelle, she doesn't want to be on film. And we you found us how? Online or did we send you a letter? I received a letter when when uh my son who had been living here changed forward the mail from the post office. Right. I got a letter from it was from you. Um just telling me about how you buy for cash. Right. And everything is done handled start to finish and it was. So when when you first when we first started negotiating, we were a little off on our numbers. You wanted a little bit more. I was explaining I needed to get it for a little bit less and do you think if people are are watching out there, did you get a fair offer? Well, I think we of course would have liked more, but everybody everybody wants more. But we realized we had to be realistic. The house was almost 60 year old 60 years old. Right. And had been run down for a while and was kind of a very small house to begin with. Didn't have had only one bedroom and one small bathroom. Yeah. And so we got we came to a fair deal. I I I I agree. And if anybody was thinking about working with Billy El Aaron with my team Easy Sell Property Solutions, would you recommend them working with us? Oh yeah, we gladly. Especially now that we've seen the finished product. We're actually sitting in the house right now. We sold the property within a half hour. A new family coming in here in about 2 weeks and I promised Dennis and his family they could come in here and check the property out prior to. What do you think about the work we did? I think you did a beautiful job. I I we moved into this house in 1955. So I grew up in a from age of eight to 19 when that time I was in the service. And never would I have thought this house could be as huge as it is. Feel like it's much bigger house than it is. Yeah. It's beautiful. I appreciate it. I really appreciate you selling us your house and it's thank you so much. You're a good man. All right. Hey.
